Visa has launched the Visa Airport Companion (VAC) application, designed to facilitate access to airport lounges for Ukrainian Visa cardholders who meet requirements.
Developed in partnership with DragonPass, a leading global platform for travel and everyday services, the new app will replace existing lounge access apps from October 1, 2024.
The new solution offers a number of benefits, including access to more than 1,200 lounges in more than 140 countries for eligible cardholders. The app provides detailed location information for participating lounges, allows for real-time eligibility checks, and tracks used and remaining visits for a seamless check-in experience. In addition, it works offline and supports biometric authentication for user convenience.
As the company noted, in the future the VAC application should turn into a comprehensive platform that will offer cardholders even more benefits from Visa. These include an enhanced airport experience, including expedited check-in, dining privileges and access to spas.
The application is available on iOS and Android.
