With the support of Poland, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine received base points for emergency medical aid teams

Date:

With the support of the Polish government, within the framework of the “Polish aid” project, Ukraine received seven modular points for the temporary accommodation of emergency medical teams (EMS). Five of them are already functioning in different regions of the country.

This, in particular, was mentioned during a meeting between the Ministry of Health and the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Malgozhata Gosejewska. The Minister of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Lyashko, expressed great gratitude to the Polish government for its powerful support to Ukraine in a very difficult time, and to the vice-speaker for her personal active participation in the implementation of the joint project.

“Poland was and remains a reliable partner and ally of Ukraine. Once again, we received powerful help and support from the Polish government and people. And we are infinitely grateful for such solidarity with Ukrainians despite extremely difficult times. Viktor Lyashko said. – Another powerful example of such support is the transfer to us of mobile points for the placement of EMD teams. This is especially relevant for regions close to the zone of active hostilities, because it is there that the medics of emergency mobile brigades are the first to come to the rescue and very often are the only source of medical assistance for residents.”

Modular points for EMD teams are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay of paramedics: there is heating, electricity, shower and toilet rooms, a rest room, etc. Currently, such modular points have already been delivered to the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv region. Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions received one more point each to replace damaged or destroyed bases.

In the near future, 5 more modular medical dispensaries will arrive in Ukraine.

We will remindpreviously modular constructions of EMD base points had already appeared in the liberated Izyum with the support of the Polish government.
