Date:

On August 11, the Kyiv Court of Appeal considered the lawsuit of Denys Yermak against Geo Leros, annulled the decision of the Pechersk District Court from May 31 of this year, which refused to grant the claim, and fully satisfied Yermak’s demands.

The court found the information that Leros published on his Facebook to be unreliable and defamatory of Yermak’s honor and dignity: “Video evidence of how Yermak, through his brother, holds public positions, introduces his program to law enforcement structures and the defense industry (hello from the Russian Federation), well and, of course, earnings from the state.”

People’s deputies were ordered to deny the information on their Facebook. Leros has not yet commented on the court’s decision.

March 29, 2020 People’s Deputy Geo Leros posted a videoin which the brother of the head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak, Denys, allegedly discusses the issue of appointment to various government positions.

The published records also featured former assistants of the head of the OPU, who later accused him of corruption and trade in positions.

Leros appealed to NABU in this regardlater SAP opened criminal proceedings. In turn, the head of the OP rejected all the accusations of Leros and wrote statements to the Security Service of Ukraine and the SBU.
