The state institutions of Ukraine must be set up to achieve all the necessary results, for this it is necessary to strengthen some directions in the government, and for this personnel decisions have been prepared, reported President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
“Autumn will be extremely important for Ukraine. And our state institutions should be configured so that Ukraine achieves all the results that we need – for all of us. For this, we have to strengthen some directions in the government, and prepare personnel solutions. There will also be changes in the Office (of the president – IF-U),” Zelenskyi said in his evening video address on Tuesday.
Also, the president is counting on a slightly different weight of certain areas of Ukraine’s foreign and domestic policy.
According to Zelenskyi, more interaction between the central government and communities is needed, especially during the preparation for the winter season. It is also necessary to strengthen defense production at all levels, “so that it would be easier to attract investment from partners in our strategic industries.”
In addition, Ukraine should significantly strengthen its work with NATO, and for this, special cooperation is needed.
“Fourth is the European Union, real membership negotiations, preparation of relevant parts of the future membership agreement. This is a very clear legal and political work at the same time. There will be personal responsibility for it,” the head of state emphasized.
The president also added that Ukraine should combine everything it has achieved in relations with partners: “trust in Ukraine, the strength of the Ukrainian spirit, relations with partners – and the tasks that our state faces in countering Russian propaganda, as well as in protecting Ukrainian cultural heritage”.
“We need a new level of simultaneously informational, cultural and diplomatic work. And a new level of relations with the global Ukrainian community. Now is the time to give new strength to the government institutions of Ukraine, and I am grateful to everyone who will help,” Zelenskyi said.
