Apology and rebuttal | UA2DAY

On January 6, 2022, UA2DAY published an article entitled ” The businessman’s family has been cutting down trees in Pechersk since the 90s in order to build a “candle”, – mass media

In this article, the name of the Ukrainian entrepreneur Dmytro Buryak was mentioned, in the context of his Russian citizenship and the participation of a company affiliated with him in the development of the plot and the destruction of green spaces at the address indicated in the above publication.

Based on the materials of the implementation of the editorial task, the following was inserted:

1.) Dmytro Arkadiyovych Buryak is an active citizen of Ukraine who voluntarily renounced Russian citizenship after the events of 2014;

2.) The construction company mentioned in the above publication, as a construction contractor, has nothing to do with the destruction of green spaces.

In addition, within the framework of the above-mentioned editorial task, the facts of deliberate actions of a circle of persons aimed at discrediting D.A. Buryak were established. and attempts to use raiding mechanisms in relation to assets belonging to him, based on his “Russian” origin. We are preparing a separate investigation and appeal to the law enforcement agencies about this.

The editors of the UA2DAY publishing house apologize to D. A. Buryak for spreading inaccurate information.
