On Obolon, neighbors saw a wounded body covered in blood: the police detained the suspect

Date:

Metropolitan police officers reported suspicion to a man who killed his friend.

By phone 102, a resident of Obolonsky Avenue reported that a man was lying in the apartment covered in blood without signs of life. Investigative and operational teams of the district and main police departments, a forensic laboratory, patrol policemen and doctors immediately arrived at the call.

Murder tools found by law enforcement officers in an apartment on Obolonsky prospect.

The law enforcement officers established that two comrades had arranged a feast. And then they quarreled. As a result, the suspect grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the landlord in the stomach and neck with it. The victim died on the spot from his injuries.

The police arrested the perpetrator immediately after committing the crime. He turned out to be a 47-year-old local resident. He had previously been convicted of a similar crime.

Investigators of the Obolon Police Department, in agreement with the Obolon District Prosecutor’s Office, have already been informed of the suspicion of committing a crime—intentional murder, committed by a person who previously committed intentional murder.

In the near future, the court will choose a preventive measure for him. The offender faces from ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment.
