The special services of Russia are preparing another one special operation, this time it is aimed at discrediting the military and political leadership of Ukraine. About this informs Main intelligence management (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense.
According to the GUR, a broad information and psychological special operation to discredit a number of representatives of the Ukrainian military and political leadership will be launched in the near future.
In particular, the discrediting campaign will be directed against a number of Ukrainian officials, in particular:
Serhiy Shaptala, Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces;
head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk;
Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov;
Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak;
acting head of the National Police, Ivan Vyhovskyi.
According to intelligence, among other things, the campaign will include the “dumping” of fabricated materials in the Ukrainian and international media. The purpose of the information and psychological operation: to sow uncertainty in the defense capabilities of Ukraine among citizens and international partners. According to the Russian special services, this should cause political instability inside the country and reduce the trust in Ukraine on the part of the international anti-Putin coalition.
