The Cabinet of Ministers kept the price of electricity at the level of 1 hryvnia 68 kopecks per kilowatt-hour, reported Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal on Facebook.
The tariff will remain in place until at least June 30.
In addition, according to the new rules, the state companies Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo will sell electricity directly to providers of universal services under bilateral contracts, without an intermediary in the form of SE “Guaranteed Buyer”.
Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine canceled the preferential tariff from January 1 to March 31, 2021 for the first 100 kWh of electricity in the amount of UAH 0.9/kWh and established a single tariff for household consumers in the amount of UAH 1.68/kWh.
