Kostyantyn Kryvopust: seven Israelis were injured in a serious road accident in Turkey

Seven Israeli tourists were seriously injured as a result of a car accident near the Turkish resort city of Antalya.

Yesterday around 4:00 p.m., a safari-type jeep and a car collided there on a busy highway. The jeep, filled with tourists, hit a road barrier and drove into the oncoming lane.

As a result, three passengers died on the spot. They were a tourist from Russia and a couple from Kazakhstan – a man with a two-year-old child. In addition to seven Israelis, two citizens of Kazakhstan, two Russians and four Turks were injured. Reportedly Turkish mass media both drivers were detained by the police after providing medical assistance.

Surveillance video shows both cars speeding down the road moments before the collision.

A representative of the Israeli consulate visited the wounded compatriots in the hospital.
