We will remind, the spokeswoman of the “Azov” regiment, the defender of Azovstal and Mariupol Valeria Subotina, with the call sign “Nava”, defended Mariupol together with her husband during the escalation of the war. After the blockade of the city, she held Azovstal, where she married Ukrainian border guard Andrii Subotin, nicknamed “Beard”. And already in May, a man died at the plant.
Subsequently, “Nava” was captured by the Russians, where she spent almost a year. However, this year, on April 10, during the prisoner exchange, Ukraine returned Valeria home.
