Belarus announced that “NATO soldiers crossed their border”

The Belarusian border guards claim that the Latvian villagers entered their side by two meters, walked along the border, and later turned back.

The State Border Service of Belarus stated that allegedly Latvian military, which is part of the NATO bloc, “crossed their border”.

The Belarusian border guards inform about this, there is currently no reaction from Latvia or the Alliance.

The incident allegedly happened on Wednesday, August 30, on the border with Latvia at the Hryhorivshchyna checkpoint, on the Latvian side – Paternieka.

The Border Service of the Republic of Belarus published a video from surveillance cameras, which allegedly recorded the moment of the illegal crossing of the Belarusian border by two unknown men in military uniform. The Belarusian border guards complained that it was the Latvian military who entered their side by two meters, walked along the border, and later returned back to Latvia. They did not have time to take any measures.

The adjacent party was informed about the fact of illegal crossing of the State border of the Republic of Belarus in the prescribed manner.
