The “102” line received a message from the owner of one of the hotels in Kolomyia. The man reported that an unknown man broke into the premises of the institution and began to commit hooliganism, namely, he destroyed the property of the hotel with a hammer.
The management of the Kolomyia RVP and the investigative team immediately arrived at the scene. The figure actively resisted the law enforcement officers. Before that, holding ammunition in his hands, he threatened to use it.
However, thanks to the concerted actions of the police, the attacker was caught when he tried to escape from the hotel through the window.
Employees of the explosives service, who also arrived at the scene, removed an object similar to the body of an F-1 grenade with a fuse. In addition, the police found and seized a hammer, an air pistol and mobile phones. Material evidence was sent for examination.
