The situation in the energy sector has stabilized thanks to the completion of repairs at two units of nuclear power plants and a drop in air temperature, says Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
“Thanks to the early completion of repairs at two units of nuclear power plants and the decrease in air temperature, the situation in the energy sector has stabilized. But we continue preparations for the autumn-winter period and the development of alternative sources of generation. State support programs for the construction of distributed generation have already been launched. There are the first examples of lending to businesses and individuals to strengthen energy sustainability,” – wrote Shmyhal in the Telegram channel on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister also reminded that the President signed the law on the removal of import duty and VAT for energy equipment, which entered into force on July 27.
“Now, citizens and businesses can import electric generators, inverters, batteries, charging stations, etc. at a preferential rate,” he added.
