The US authorities have added 14 Belarusian companies to the sanctions list for supporting Russian aggression in Ukraine, the US Treasury announced on Friday.
Among the companies subject to restrictions are Belkanto airline, Legmash factory and KB Unmanned Helicopters company.
Also, the United States has imposed sanctions against 19 individuals who are related to companies subject to sanctions.
The U.S. Treasury Department also added a Boeing 767-32K aircraft with flight number EW-001PB, which is part of the Belarusian government aircraft fleet, to the list of sanctions.
The US Treasury noted that sanctions are being introduced for providing assistance to the Russian Federation, in particular, “the production of military resources and the transportation of goods to Russia through Belarus.”
