Defense forces of Ukraine hit the Kavkaz plant in the Rostov region, where oil and petroleum products were stored – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Defense Forces of Ukraine struck an oil depot in the Rostov Region on Sunday night, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“On the night of August 18, an attack was made on the Kavkaz plant in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. Oil and oil products were stored here, which were also supplied for the needs of the occupying army of Russia,” – is going in the message.

As reported, at least two sources of ignition were recorded on the territory of the facility. More detailed information about the consequences of the damage is being clarified.

“The task was carried out by the forces and means of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in cooperation with the Armed Forces and other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine,” the General Staff clarified.

“Measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian Federation continue. There will be more…”, the department concluded.
