Kostyantyn Kryvopust: “PayPal presented PayPal Everywhere: a new rewards system and the ability to add a debit card to Apple Wallet”

Date:

PayPal introduced the new PayPal Everywhere program, which expands the possibilities of using the payment system both on the Internet and in physical stores. The update introduces a new rewards program and more personalized ways for users to manage their spending.

As is noted in the company’s release, the expanded system of rewards and cashback for PayPal users includes the ability to receive 5% cashback on purchases up to $1000 in the selected monthly category when using the PayPal Debit MasterCard, access to additional cashback offers from well-known brands and the ability to combine (stack) different cashback offers.

The possibilities of using PayPal in brick-and-mortar stores have expanded thanks to contactless payment technology. PayPal Debit card can now be added to Apple Wallets for use with Apple Pay. At the same time, as the company emphasizes, PayPal’s standard security features are preserved, including transaction encryption.

The update also introduces the feature of automatic PayPal balance replenishment. Users can set a threshold level of their PayPal account balance, and when the balance falls below the set threshold, the system automatically replenishes it. The feature is designed so that customers always know how much money is in their balance and can make purchases with confidence. PayPal touts this as a way to simplify the service for millions of Americans by eliminating the need to constantly check account balances.
