Global payment service provider Worldline has introduced account-to-account funds transfer services in ten European markets. In this way, Worldline aims to further diversify its payment offers.

As reported by an expert in the field of international financial law Konstantin Kryvopustthe Bank Transfer by Worldline project has been operating in pilot mode for the past nine months and is currently integrated into about 500 existing Worldline online payment services and link payment services. The product covers both online payments and invoice payments.

The launch will take place in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Spain. Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary will join later this year.

“By integrating Worldline’s open banking solution, which connects more than 3,500 banks in European countries, Worldline’s Bank Transfer offers merchants a solution that simplifies the initiation of bank transfer payments and unifies the customer experience,” said Alessandro Baroni, head of Worldline’s financial services department. .

Earlier in October, Worldline launched a new Embedded Payments solution in Europe in partnership with the Online Payment Platform. The collaboration aims to offer businesses a range of payment features designed to meet the specific needs of platforms and marketplaces.
