US President Donald Trump has announced during his appeal to Congress on Tuesday that he received from the President of Ukraine a message about his readiness for negotiations to a peaceful settlement of the war with the Russian Federation.
“Today I received an important letter from the President of Zelensky … A letter that says that Ukraine is ready to sit at the negotiation table as soon as possible to reach a long -term peace … that his team is ready to work under the strong leadership of President Trump,” the President said.
Trump also voted that the President of Ukraine was gratitude to the United States for the assistance provided and ready to sign an agreement on rare land minerals “at any convenient” for the US. “I am grateful to him for this letter,” Trump added.
Prior to that, the US President noted that hundreds of billions of dollars were spent the United States for war in Ukraine without any makings.
“Hundreds of billions of dollars were spent on support of Ukraine without any makings. Want to continue this for 5 years? ” He said.
Trump also accused Europe of buying energy from the Russian Federation. “Europe has spent more money buying Russian oil and gas than Ukraine’s defense,” he said.
