The State Service for Medicines and Drug Control (State Service) will check the presence of pharmacies with pharmaceutical education in pharmacies, the Ministry of Health on its site reports.
It is noted that the State Service, following the results of inspections in the first quarter of 2025, found that in a number of pharmacies there is no staffed staff with pharmaceutical education and qualification.
The Ministry of Health emphasizes that since drugs should be released through pharmacies only by a specialist in pharmaceutical education, such disorders are a risk to patient safety.
The agency also reminded the preparation for the launch of the Pharmacist Register and noted that the ESOO system revealed the absence of an employee with a confirmed pharmaceutical education in some pharmacy establishments.
“Such establishments will be subject to verification by the State Service for compliance with licensing conditions. A single electronic health care system allows you to identify pharmacy employees by position, education, experience and other criteria. This allows to create a transparent model workers, ”the Ministry of Health states.
