Today, Kyiv Zoo opens the 117th spring-summer season: incredible photos

Date:

Kiyan and guests of the capital are invited to a blossoming park and incredible animals.

According to the Kyiv Zoo directorate, almost all the animals have already moved to their summer grounds and ponds, and the park has turned green and blossomed with the beauty of flowers and trees.

“In these difficult times for our country, the work of the zoo is possible only with the support of society, state and public institutions, friends and colleagues from all over the world, and the dedication of our employees. The main thing now is to provide the zoo residents with warmth, feed, veterinary care, and to improve their conditions despite all the difficulties. Since the beginning of the Russian aggression, we have given shelter to more than 400 animals, and this imposes responsibility on us for their further fate,” said the Kyiv Zoo of State Importance.

Before the opening of the season, more than 30 exhibits were updated here, two artificial reservoirs were created, 15 modern aeration systems were installed, and an aviary twice as large was built for 12 rescued Anubis baboons. On the occasion of adding a capybar to the family, a new “children’s playground” with a pool and much more was arranged.

“Ukraine is a European state! And we must educate European values and standards in all areas of our society, and the relationship with nature and the animal world of our country is very important for our future and the future of our children. That’s why we believe in the Armed Forces, unite in the fight against invaders and stick together! – they say in the Kyiv Zoo.

In addition, on Saturday, April 29, the dinosaur park will start working in the Kyiv Hydropark. The grand opening will begin at 12:00 p.m. and last until 3:00 p.m.
