“Azovstal. Voices” will be shown at the Ukrainian House next month.
On May 20, on the anniversary of the stay of the Ukrainian defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal in Kyiv, a multimedia theater performance “Azovstal. Voices”.
The performance will be shown at the Ukrainian House, located at 2 Khreshchatyk Street at 6:00 p.m.
“This will be the time for everyone to come together and once again loudly say that our military is still in Russian captivity. It’s been a year since we’ve been waiting for them at home,” the organizers write.
“Azovstal. “Voices” is a bright story about the defense of Mariupol, consisting of monologues about the spiritual values of each person. The collective images of defenders are used in the play. But it will be possible to recognize individual Heroes of Azovstal. For example, paramedic Kateryna “Ptashka” Polishchuk and former head of the press service of the “Azov” regiment Dmytro “Orest” Kozatskyi. By the way, their Ukrainian side succeeded to exchange in September last year.
Today, there are still thousands of Ukrainians and about two thousand defenders of Azovstal, who have not been on the prisoner of war exchange list recently. The Ukrainian side is doing everything possible to bring every Hero and Heroine home.
