The capital’s theaters prepared an interesting program for the audience.
On May 9, for the Day of Europe in the European Union, the Koleso theater takes part in the International Festival Europe Day`23.
For the holiday celebrating peace and unity on the continent, SkoroVoda presents the premiere play “SkoroVoda” based on the script by Ivan Drach and Vira Melnyk about the outstanding Ukrainian philosopher Hryhoriy Skovoroda (1722-1794), who, according to historical evidence, traveled around Europe for five years – in the middle of the 18th century Art. visited Hungary, Slovakia, Austria. There are also assumptions that Hryhoriy Skovoroda visited Italy and Germany.
The production of the play “SkoroVoda” directed by People’s Artist of Ukraine Iryna Klishchevskaya is incredible stories about the life of the Ukrainian philosopher, his fables, philosophical thoughts.
The duration of the performance is 80 minutes.

On the same day, the actors of the ProEnglish Theater of Ukraine and the theater community DSP invite you to a warm and cozy apartment “Day of Europe. Non-concert”.
Guests will hear covers created by Art Batallion during the year of the invasion: “A Town In Ukraine (house of the rising sun)”, “Moskal”, “Village Chornobaivka”, “Haspada Akhvitsery”, “Song of the Ship”, “No Russians”, “Yesterday ( before the war), “Ukrainian in Bakhmut” and other familiar and new hits.
