Denys Shmyhal submitted a proposal to the Council for the appointment of a new head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The head of the Cabinet proposes to the Verkhovna Rada to appoint a new head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.

This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk in Telegram.

“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered the submission of the Prime Minister of Ukraine D.A. Shmyhal on the appointment of Klymenko Ihor Volodymyrovych as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine”he wrote.

It will be recalled that on January 18, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Ihor Klymenko as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Head of the National Police of Ukraine. He also served as the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

That morning, a helicopter fell in Brovary near a kindergarten and a residential building.

There were 9 people on board the helicopter, including the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Minister Denys Monastyrskyi, his first deputy Yevhen Yenin and State Secretary Yuriy Lubkovich.

For reference: Ihor Klymenko is used by mass media by the creature of the former Minister of Internal Affairs – Arsen Avakov.
