DTEK for 4 months. invested in repairs and restoration of the TPP 1.6 billion UAH

Date:

In January-April 2025, DTEK Energo has allocated about UAH 1.6 billion for repair and restoration of thermal power plants affected by massive enemy shelling.

According to the energy holding press release, the repair campaign continues without pauses, as the extent of destruction remains critical. A year ago, 90% of DTEK Energo generating capacity was destroyed or severely damaged by attacks. On the eve of last winter, the energymen managed to restore more than half of them, but new blows in November-December again brought serious destruction.

“Our main task is not to stop. We work on recovery daily to ensure the stable operation of the power system in the summer, during peak loads, and confidently enter into the next heating season,” – said DTEK Energo CEO Alexander Fomenko.

DTEK in 2024 invested UAH 3.6 billion in the restoration of the TPP and another UAH 7.5 billion in the development of domestic coal production.

Last year, the Russian Federation made 13 massive attacks on Ukrainian energy, causing a serious blow, including on thermal power plants “DTEK ENTERGO”. In general, since the start of the full -scale invasion of the company, the company has been attacked by the enemy 205 times. 56 stations were injured from the attacks, 4 were killed.

DTEK Energo provides a closed cycle of coal electricity production. The company’s installed capacity in the heat generation as of January 2022 was 13.3 GW. Coal production has created a complete production cycle: coal production and enrichment, mechanical engineering and mine equipment service.
