As of the morning of January 31, there were no emergency shutdowns, reports the Ukrenergo company.
At the same time, the operator notes that electricity consumption is increasing due to the cold weather.
“Given the trend of increasing consumption, there is a danger of exceeding the limits in the regions and applying restrictions,” the message states.
The company handed over restrictions on electricity consumption by region to Oblenergo. As Ukrenergo reminds, as a result of 13 missile and 15 drone attacks, as well as the occupation of a number of capacities, the Ukrainian energy system currently cannot fully cover consumption.
