KYIV. December 19. UNN. Emergency power cuts are introduced in Kyiv and the Kyiv region due to a new attack by the Russian occupiers. DTEK, which provides service in the region, reports this UNN.

“Emergency blackouts are introduced in Kyiv due to a missile attack. Stabilization shutdown schedules are not in effect,” DTEK Kyiv Electric Power Company said in a statement.

Also, DTEK Kyiv regional power grids informs about emergency power outages in Kyiv region.

“There are emergency power outages in the region. This is a necessary step to balance the power system and avoid equipment breakdowns. Schedules of stabilization shutdowns are currently not in effect!”, the message states.

On the night of December 19, the Russian army kamikaze drones attacked Kyiv. The occupiers launched more than 20 “Shahed” drones in the direction of Kyiv. Air defense forces destroyed about 15. The Russians hit a critical point infrastructure.

On the night of December 18-19, 2022, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made kamikaze drones “Shahed-136/131”. A total of 35 drones air defense “minused” 30 units.
