As of 1:30 p.m., the most active fighting took place in the Pokrovsky, Kurakhivskyi and Siversky directions, Russian troops are using guided and unguided air bombs on the entire front line, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Since the beginning of the day, the enemy attacked the Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions the most. Increased activity of the enemy is also observed in the Seversky direction. Our soldiers harshly respond to the assault and offensive actions of the invaders, destroy the infantry and equipment,” – reads in the message of the General Staff on Facebook on Saturday.
It is noted that the enemy continues to fire artillery on the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions. According to the summary of the General Staff, Stara Mykolaivka, Studenok and Stara Guta were fired from the territory of the Russian Federation. “Also, Russian terrorists from their territory continue to attack Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs. From the direction of Belgorod, the enemy attacked Vovchansk with one anti-aircraft gun and three anti-aircraft guns on Liptsy. The occupiers also hit Borova in the Kupyansk direction with two anti-aircraft guns,” the General Staff report states.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops continue to try to improve the situation in the areas of the villages of Torske and Terny. “The enemy struck two anti-aircraft guns at Liman, launched another anti-aircraft gun at the village of Shchurove, and hit Radkivskyi Sands twice with anti-aircraft guns. In this direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks, one is still ongoing near Torskyi,” the General Staff informs.
It is also reported about the activation of the aggressor in the Seversky direction. Currently, six combat clashes are ongoing in this direction in Ivano-Daryivka and Rozdolivka districts. One enemy assault of the Armed Forces was repulsed near Vyimka.
Twice the invaders tried to attack in the Kramatorsk direction, near Novy and Klishchiivka. Both attempts were unsuccessful. Units of the Defense Forces control the situation.
“In the Pokrovsky direction today, the intensity of enemy attacks is the highest. The total number of combat operations here since the beginning of the day has increased to 14. Near Zeleny Poly, Novooleksandrivka, Novoselivka Pershoya and Nevelsky, Ukrainian soldiers have already repelled six attacks. Another eight are ongoing in Yevgenivka, Sokol and Yasnobrodivka districts. The situation is tense, but under control,” the General Staff reports.
Fighting continues in the Kurakhiv direction. Since the beginning of the day, units of the Defense Forces have already repelled 10 enemy assaults near Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Kostyantynivka, Paraskoviivka, and Vodiany. Two more combat clashes continue near Kostyantynivka and Vodyanyi.
“The enemy is attacking with the support of aviation in the direction of Vremivsk. The Russian occupiers used 10 unguided aerial missiles in the Staromayorsky district. There is still a fighting going on. Another 16 strikes by unguided aerial missiles were carried out by the Russian troops on Pyatikhatki in the Orihiv direction,” the General Staff said in a summary.
In other directions, the situation has not changed much.
