In Japan, a student came to graduation dressed as Zelensky

A student of Kyoto University came to graduation dressed as President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. In this way, the boy expressed his solidarity with the Ukrainian people. This was reported by the lecturer of the university Geoffrey Hall.

In Japanese universities, there is a tradition for graduates to come to the graduation ceremony in any outfit, copying any character or historical figure.

At the current graduation ceremony of Kyoto University, one graduate was dressed as the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi. It took him three months to grow a beard“, Hall wrote.

Later, the student himself also commented on his image, promising to come to Ukraine later to help in its reconstruction.

We remember you. Unfortunately, I can’t support you other than with a modest donation, but one day I will set foot on your land to help with your recovery“, – wrote he.

The graduate also took with him a poster in support of Ukraine, on which he printed quotes from Zelenskyi’s speech in Congress.
