Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a citizen of Ukraine was notified of suspicion of collaborative activity (Part 7, Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, in April 2022, the suspect voluntarily took the position of a firefighter in an illegal law enforcement agency created by representatives of the aggressor state.

We are talking about the 70th fire and rescue unit of the state budgetary institution “Fire and rescue unit of the city of Volnovakha of the Ministry of Civil Protection, Emergency Situations and Liquidation of the Consequences of Natural Disasters of the DNR”.

Having sworn allegiance to the illegal organization, the suspect contributes to the establishment and approval of the temporary occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine in the Donetsk region by his actions.

A special pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Territorial Department of the Security Intelligence Service, located in the city of Lviv, based on the materials of the SBU Office in the Lviv region.

Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
