On the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen paid tribute to the indomitable spirit of Ukrainians, declaring that Ukraine will win the war waged against it by Russia, as well as become a member of the European Union.
This is stated in postswhich von der Leyen made on her page in the X social network on the eve of the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine.
“Tonight, on the eve of the Independence Day of Ukraine, our building shines with the colors of the Ukrainian flag. We pay tribute to the indomitable spirit and courage of our Ukrainian friends. Ukraine will win this war and take its place in our European family. Glory to Ukraine!” she wrote.
