Rebrov praised the Ukrainian national team and assessed the extent of Mykolenko’s injury

Date:

In the third friendly match in two weeks, the national team of Ukraine won its first victory. Sergey Rebrov’s team crushed on the way out Moldova.

The victory was overshadowed by an injury to one of the leading Ukrainian football players.

The national team of Ukraine won a convincing victory over Moldova with a score of 4:0. Goals were scored by Yaremchuk, Tsygankov, Dovbyk and Sudakov, who added two assists to his achievement. However, in the first half, the “blue and yellow” lost Mykolenko, who recently returned to the team after an injury.

What Rebrov said about the victory of the Ukrainian national team

The head coach of the national team promised to draw conclusions from three friendly matches, of which his team won only one. Rebrov has no doubts that this information will help the “blue-yellow” to successfully perform at the European Championship.

Rebrov said that Mykolenko has not had a recurrence of the injury that kept him out of action at the end of last season. The defender of the national team of Ukraine suffered damage of a different nature. The coach expressed hope that the football player will soon return to normal.

The coach of the national team did not single out any of the players after Moldova’s victory. But Rebrov admitted that he is happy with this result, which will give the team confidence before the matches of Euro-2024.
