Reznikov is confident that Ukraine will receive Taurus cruise missiles from Germany

Date:

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, expressed confidence that Germany will supply his country with long-range Taurus cruise missiles. Reznikov stated this in an interview with the German newspapers Bild, Die Welt and the publication Politico, reports DW.

“I am very optimistic and see that in the future we will also receive Taurus from Germany,” said Reznikov.

He did not specify when the cruise missiles are expected to be delivered.

“I think it won’t take a whole year,” said the minister.

According to Reznikov, Germany is a serious partner of Ukraine in the war unleashed by Russia and has already transferred many of the latest weapons systems, including Leopard tanks, Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled guns, Marder self-propelled guns and Gepard self-propelled guns.

In addition, Oleksiy Reznikov called false the reports that appeared in the mass media about the criticism of the Ukrainian counteroffensive by the US administration. “This is not true,” he said. Although, according to Reznikov, a “serious discussion” was held with the American authorities, he does not feel any pressure on Ukraine from the West.
