Gypsy spicy soup – a very tasty and aromatic dish that will not leave indifferent lovers of spicy food. Such a soup is prepared quite simply on an ordinary stove and does not take much time. The only thing is that it is not recommended to treat children with this dish, as it is really very spicy. In this version, you can vary the amount of such ingredients as cayenne pepper, garlic and chili pepper.

Ingredients for cooking gypsy spicy soup:

  1. Fresh pork meat – 200 grams
  2. Fresh beef pulp – 200 grams
  3. Fresh chicken fillet – 200 grams
  4. Fresh tomatoes – 500 grams
  5. Bell pepper of medium size – 3 pieces
  6. Onions – 250 grams
  7. Medium-sized garlic – 5 cloves
  8. Smoked fat – 125 grams
  9. Fat – 1 tablespoon
  10. Salt – to taste
  11. Cayenne pepper – to taste
  12. Dry chili pepper – to taste
  13. Canned red beans – 200 grams
  14. Sugar – 1 teaspoon
  15. Fresh parsley – 20 grams
  16. Fresh oregano greens – 20 grams
  17. Fresh rosemary greens – 20 grams
  18. Dry red wine – 200 milliliters
  19. Purified cold water – 500-700 ml

Inventory:

  1. Cutting board
  2. Than
  3. A deep pot or cauldron with a lid
  4. Plate – 4 pieces
  5. Medium bowl
  6. Wooden spatula
  7. Saucer – 3 pieces
  8. Colander
  9. Scoop
  10. Deep dishes for serving

Preparation of gypsy spicy soup:

Step 1: prepare the meat.

Rinse the pork under running water and place on a cutting board. If necessary, clean the meat with a knife from the meat and fat. Then cut it into small pieces and transfer it to a clean plate

After that, wash the beef under running water and put it on a cutting board. With the help of a knife, we clean the meat from the guts and film, and then cut it into small pieces. Transfer the chopped component to a container with pieces of pork.

At the end, wash the chicken fillet under running water and also put it on a cutting board. We clean it from veins, fat and film with a knife, and cut it into small pieces. Transfer the chopped chicken to a plate with other chopped meat. WARNING: all the pieces should be of the same size so that they can be evenly fried during the cooking process.


Step 2: prepare lard.

We spread the smoked lard on a cutting board and, using a knife, cut it into small cubes. Transfer the chopped ingredient to a free plate.


Step 3: prepare bell pepper.

Wash the bell pepper under running water and place on a cutting board. With the help of a knife, remove the tail and cut the vegetable lengthwise into two halves. Clean each one of the seeds and then cut it into strips. Transfer the chopped component to a clean plate.


Step 4: prepare the tomatoes.

Wash the tomatoes under running water and put them on a cutting board. Make a cross-shaped incision on the surface of the vegetables with a knife and transfer them to a medium bowl. Now pour boiling water over the tomatoes and set aside to blanch 5 minutes. After that, transfer the component back to the cutting board and remove the skin with your hands (or a knife).

Cut the peeled vegetables into small cubes and put them back in the bowl (only first drain the water and rinse them under running water).


Step 5: prepare the onion.

Using a knife, remove the onion peel, and thoroughly wash the vegetable itself under running cold water. We spread it on a cutting board and cut it into small cubes or straws. Transfer the chopped component to a clean plate.


Step 6: prepare the garlic.

With the help of a knife, we clean the garlic from the husk and wash it lightly under running water. Then we lay out the cloves on a cutting board and finely chop them. Transfer the chopped component to a clean saucer.


Step 7: prepare cayenne pepper.

Rinse the cayenne pepper under running water and place on a cutting board. Using a knife, remove the tail and then finely chop it into pieces or straws. Transfer the chopped vegetable to a free saucer.


Step 8: prepare dried chili pepper.

Put the chili pepper on a cutting board and cut it into small pieces with a knife. Transfer the chopped vegetable to a free saucer.


Step 9: prepare fresh herbs.

Green parsley, oregano and rosemary are thoroughly washed under running water. Then we shake it off excess liquid on a scale and put it on a cutting board. Finely chop the greens with a knife and transfer to a clean plate.


Step 10: prepare the beans.

Place the beans in a colander and set aside to drain excess liquid.


Step 11: prepare gypsy spicy soup.

Put fat in a pan (or better in a cauldron) and put the container on medium heat. When the fat is well heated, put all the meat in a pan and, stirring it with a wooden spatula, fry it on all sides. Immediately after that, add chopped lard, onion and bell pepper to the container. Mix everything well again until smooth and, without stopping, put chopped garlic, cayenne pepper and salt to taste in the pan one by one. Now, when all the components are well mixed, pour the wine into the container and add the chili pepper. At the end, we put chopped tomatoes, beans, sugar and finely chopped greens. Pour our mass with purified cold water, mix everything well and simmer over low heat until all ingredients are fully cooked. WARNING: to speed up the process, cover the pot with a lid. As soon as the gypsy spicy soup is ready, we turn off the burner and can serve it to the dinner table.


Step 12: serve spicy gypsy soup.

With the help of a ladle, we pour the spicy gypsy soup into deep plates and serve it to the dinner table. With such a first course, it is best to serve slices of fresh fragrant bread, as the soup is really very spicy, to the point that it takes your breath away.

Advice:

– If you are not a fan of spicy dishes, but would be happy to taste such a soup, you can simply not add cayenne pepper, dried chili pepper to the dish.

– Instead of pork, beef or chicken, you can add other meat to your taste in the soup.

– If you do not have a special pot or cauldron in which you can fry the ingredients, it is best to use a frying pan, and then transfer the meat and other components of the soup into a regular deep pot and continue cooking.

– You can use dried instead of fresh greens.
