This book is about “understanding”.
We all try to understand some problems around us, some events, and the author’s task was to understand his country. The war turned out to be the existential dimension that showed Ukraine as we have not seen it before. He set the tone of change that finalizes all the previous years of trying to change something. It is also important to understand this dimension — and that is why thoughts about today’s Ukraine, Ukraine in a state of war, are superimposed on the stream of reflections about Ukraine at the end of the 2010s. Now is the time for all of us to understand the country in which we live.
