A 29-story building will soon appear on Hospital Street, 4 in the Pechersk district of the capital. For this reason, green areas have already been cut down there.
According to preliminary information, as reported by the publishing house “Kyiv-24”, the developer will be the company “Lota-MNV”. The complex will be located on a plot of 1.15 hectares, valued at 83 million hryvnias.
What will the elite complex look like
The permit for the construction of this “candle” was issued in 2019 by the now liquidated State Architectural and Building Inspection. It is planned that the complex will consist of a residential building, an underground parking lot and social facilities.
The design project was developed by A24D office. They decided to build the high-rise on the slope between the Palace of Sports, the Olympic Stadium and the Rus Hotel. The contractor is the company “Devizhn Construction”, which is controlled by the Russian Dmytro Buryak.
Russian trace and plume from the 90s
Nataliya Myronenko, the widow of Grigoriy (Gary) Gabovych, is the owner of the building company.
At one time, this entrepreneur was a business partner of Semen Yufa, the owner of the “Mercury” consumer company, which was considered an analogue of the MMM financial pyramid.
In addition, Gabovych is known as the co-founder of the Kyiv goods market “Patent”, which in the 90s had the status of the main bazaar of Ukraine.
The Gabovych family now owns more than 14,000 square meters of commercial real estate at 14 Khreshchatyk and the Internet provider Lucky.Net.
After the death of Gabovych Sr. (he passed away in 2018), the business is managed by two sons – Julian and Artur. Among their famous real estate projects is the cottage town “Roslavychi” in the suburbs of the capital.
In order to find out all the circumstances of the event, the UA2DAY editorial team tried to contact the Gabovych family, but no answer was received regarding the authenticity or falsity of the above information.
At the same time, according to the information of the contractor company “Devizhn Construction”, which is also mentioned in the context of the notification, the terms of the contract do not provide for the participation of the company’s employees in the demolition of green spaces and, accordingly, such actions are not carried out by the company.
