Normal digestion improves the general condition of the body. As the nutritionist said, three groups of products contribute to the good work of the digestive system. What products will help preserve youth?

The first group, as the expert noted, includes probiotic or fermented milk products. They have a beneficial effect on the symbiotic bacteria that live in the large intestine, performing functions important for digestion. Probiotics are contained in sour cream, kefir and ryazhanka, which are recommended to be eaten to normalize the number of bacteria in the body.

In order for the intestinal microflora to receive the necessary nutrition, it is important to include in the diet a group of products rich in prebiotics or dietary fiber. Among this category, the doctor singled out coarse bread, oatmeal and buckwheat. They also reduce the acidity of the stomach, protecting it from peptic ulcers.

The third group, according to the nutritionist, includes enzyme-forming products that are digestive stimulants.

“They facilitate the digestion process, and also stimulate the production of digestive juices and the excretion of bile,” explained the doctor.

The doctor included seasonings and spices, including onions, garlic, turmeric, and peppers, in this category.
