On Tuesday, April 11, a fire broke out on the third floor of the four-story educational building of the Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University at 52 Khreshchatyk Street. It was reported Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.

“The fire broke out on an area of ​​10 square meters. Preliminary – there are no victims. At 10:06 a.m., the fire was contained,” she clarifies.

Rescue units continue to work on extinguishing the fire.

Updated. The assistant rector of the university comments: “There was a small fire, it was put out with a fire extinguisher. However, we did call the rescuers, but it’s okay. The rector is already in place.”
