The head of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church His Beatitude Svyatoslav handed over 12 resuscitation vehicles to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Funds for the cars were collected by parishioners of the UGCC and Ukrainian communities, including forced migrants, in Austria.
“Today, each of us is fighting against the aggressor for the future and freedom of Ukraine. Our great and joint victory is created by joint steps and joint actions for the protection of our people. And today we are especially grateful for such comprehensive and powerful spiritual support, which the Ukrainian church provides to our doctors. And also for the constant painstaking work to attract help from the whole world,” said Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Iryna Mykychak.
Currently, ambulances have been filled with resuscitation equipment and handed over to the drivers of military hospitals and health care facilities of Kherson and Kropyvnytskyi, as well as district hospitals of Kirovohrad region.
