There were more seats in the hall for chamber music.
The concert hall of the Music Salon of the National Philharmonic began working in a new format. Now the hall has not 30, but 40 seats, the institution has made it more comfortable and cozy.
As noted in the capital Philharmonic, the premises of the music salon also acts as a shelter, so concerts take place even during air raids.
Chamber concerts are held in the music hall.
In February, the following program was prepared for the students:
Saturday, February 18. “Picturesque Ukraine” arranged by Vyacheslav Samofalov.
Vyacheslav Samofalov (bayan) and Maria Vikhlyaeva (piano) will present a program of works by Ukrainian composers – Mykhailo Lysenko, Dmytro Klebanov, Levko Kolodub and others. The suite “Music of the Old Manor” written by Vyacheslav Samofalov will also be performed.
Sunday, February 19. An evening of chamber music. Herman Safonov (violin), Olena Strogan (piano)
The program includes music by V.A. Mozart, F. Schubert, E. Grieg, as well as the poetry of Anatoly Matviychuk.
Saturday, February 25. “Beethoven. Letters to a beloved”
In addition to Ludwig van Beethoven’s piano music – rondo and sonata (on the instrument of Tetyana Andriyevska-Bodenchuk), his vocal works performed by tenor Serhiy Botnyk – “Ich liebe dich…” (I love you) to the words of K.F. Gerrosee, “Die Ehre Gottes aus der Natur” (Glorification of God in Nature) to the words of K.F. Gellert and “Auf dem hugel sitz…” (On the hill…) from the cycle “To a distant beloved” on
words by A. Jaitteles.
Sunday, February 26. “Grand Astor”. Quartet of accordionists named after Mykola Rizol
The musicians will present a variety of music by the famous Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, who invented the “new tango”. Nadia Ageeva-Shved will also read the thematic poetry of O. Teliga, R. Boychuk, A. Matviychuk and I. Verkhivska-Eltek.
Monday, February 27. “Echoes of memory”. Chamber String Quartet “Capris Classic”
The program will combine the works of world classics (F. Schubert, J.S. Bach, A. Vivaldi,
V.A. Mozart, J. Strauss) with Ukrainian folk songs and music by A. Piazzolla.
Tuesday, February 28. “Tango by Candlelight”. Astor Piazzolla
Another program dedicated to tango will be performed by the ensemble of folk instruments “Native chants”. In particular, works from the series “History of Tango” and the series of concerts “Seasons in Buenos Aires”, music from the operetta “Maria from Buenos Aires” will be performed.

The Philharmonic also continues the “Open Rehearsal” project for young people. Students of all art educational institutions of Ukraine, subject to prior online registration, can attend rehearsals of leading groups and artists in the Column Hall of the Philharmonic.
The next rehearsal will take place on February 20. The National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine will perform “Tragic Overture” by J. Brahms, “Langsam” by V. Poleva and Symphony No. 7 in A major by L. Beethoven.
To get to the rehearsal, students need to register until February 19, 22:00. To attend open rehearsals, you must have a student card with you.
