The romantic comedy “Neighbor” became the highest-grossing Ukrainian film of the wartime period in two weeks of release

On December 29, the film was released nationwide “Neighbor” production of the company F Films with support The State Agency of Ukraine on Cinema. Box office collections for the first two weeks of screenings amounted to 5,436,545 hryvnias.

The screenplay for the film was written by the author of literary bestsellers, a Ukrainian writer Irena Karpa. The cast of the film includes Dmytro Gordon, Anna Trincher and Jerry Heilplayed the main roles Ksenia Mishina and Artemiy Egorov.

In the center of the plot – the story of the relationship between an irresponsible ardent bachelor who is ready for any adventure for the sake of fun, and a sensible music teacher, a single mother, for whom family values ​​and children come first in life. The heroes were true to their principles until a fateful turn of events that radically changed their lives.

“Releasing this tape for rental on New Year’s days during a full-scale war, we saw one mission – to give Ukrainians the opportunity for an hour and a half to move to a more optimistic reality, distract themselves from the news and remember how incredibly beautiful our life was a year ago,” he says producer and co-founder of the F Films company Olesya Nogina. – We sincerely rejoice at every positive response from the audience, because if we managed to improve the mood of such a large audience, then everything was not in vain, and we will soon return to normal life and new comedies.”

Part of the funds from each ticket goes to support the Armed Forces.
