Together with Spain, Ukraine will cooperate in projects to provide patients with the necessary medical care

Date:

The Ministry of Health actively joins efforts with international organizations to restore medical facilities as soon as possible and ensure uninterrupted access of patients to the necessary medical care. This was discussed at a meeting with representatives of the Galician association “Help to Ukraine”, which provides humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

During the active hostilities, the association has already sent a variety of humanitarian aid to Ukraine: electric generators, ambulances, all-terrain vehicles, medical equipment, medicines, etc.

“We are grateful for Ukraine’s continuous support. Today, our task is to make maximum efforts to ensure that this assistance is uninterrupted. Currently, we still need armored evacuation vehicles, certain types of medical and rehabilitation equipment,” said Maria Karchevych, Deputy Minister of Health.

The Galician association has already started implementing the first projects in Ukraine. In particular, two mobile brigades are currently operating in the de-occupied territories, which provide basic medical assistance to the population.

In the future, the organization plans to continue providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine, help with rehabilitation projects for Ukrainian citizens, and participate in the reconstruction of the medical infrastructure destroyed by the occupiers.
