Ukrainer presented a series about folk architecture

Date:

A series of documentaries and texts about the regional features of Ukrainian folk architecture will be released in the “Strikha” project from Ukrainer. The goal of the project is to preserve and save architectural monuments, but it can also be used as educational material in high school.

About this informs “Tictor Media”.

All series of the project will be available in the playlist on YouTube link.

The first film-expedition tells about the architecture of western Ukraine, in particular about the 500-year-old temple in the border village of Potelych, the Hutsul fortress.

An art critic and researcher of wooden architecture acted as an expert in the video Mykhailo Syrokhman. In particular, he talked about the variety of folk architecture of Transcarpathia.
