Under the procedural guidance of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the precinct police officer of the prevention sector of one of the police departments of the Mykolaiv Regional Police Department was informed of the suspicion of illegal acquisition and storage for the purpose of selling narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
According to the investigation, the senior police lieutenant purchased narcotic and psychotropic substances – cannabis and amphetamine – from an unidentified person for the purpose of sale. After receiving the “goods”, he packed the substance into packages. In the future, he made three caches-bookmarks on the territory of Mykolaiv, which were seized by law enforcement officers.
During the search of the suspect’s place of residence, a significant amount of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, packaged in packages, was discovered and seized.
Currently, the issue of selecting a person as a preventive measure in the form of detention is being resolved.
Urgent investigative actions aimed at establishing the actual circumstances of the committed crime are being conducted.
