Ex-president of France Hollande is going to extraordinary parliamentary elections

Date:

The former president of France, the socialist Francois Hollande, announced his participation in the extraordinary parliamentary elections in the country, the first round of which is to be held on June 30.

“The ultra-right have never been so close to power. Political confusion reigns in our country. Faced with such a serious situation, I decided to run for office in the first electoral district of Correz”, – stated the former head of France in the X social network, announcing that he will run for office from the “New People’s Front”, which united left political forces.

According to Hollande, he made such a decision for the sake of the country’s interests.

“It was necessary to unite the left, but it is very important to unite all French people,” said Hollande.
