Head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during her visit to Kyiv, visited one of the Points of Invincibility and talked with firefighters of the State Emergency Service.
“When a Russian bomb falls, firefighters of the State Service rush to tame the flames and save people,” – said von der Leyen on social network X on Friday. “We support them with generators and emergency rescue equipment,” she added.
Von der Leyen also reported on her visit to one of President Zelenskyi’s “Points of Invincibility” and called them “a valuable energy shelter in times of crisis.”
