The “Okhmatdit – Healthy Childhood” charitable foundation is waiting for the legal mechanism for the targeted transfer of money for the restoration of the clinic.
“I believe that answers to all problematic questions will be found, we will receive a legal mechanism for the targeted transfer of funds for the restoration of the Ohmatdyt hospital, in order to start it as soon as possible,” – wrote the head of the foundation Yevhen Vember on Facebook.
He said that the fund sent a letter with a guarantee of readiness to transfer funds to the clinic and the Ministry of Health.
In addition, Vember noted that the fund is discussing with representatives of an independent auditing company the possibility of checking the fund’s activities.
As reported, the director of “Okhmatdyt” Volodymyr Zhovnir said that the BF “Okhmatdyt – Healthy Childhood”, which collected money for the restoration of the clinic after its destruction as a result of a rocket attack on July 8, is not going to transfer them to the accounts of “Okhmatdyt”. Meanwhile, in the official statement of the BF, it was said that all funds collected for the restoration of the hospital will remain in his accounts. The representatives of the fund asked to provide legal grounds for transferring funds to treasury accounts without designation.
According to the Ministry of Health, the amount of funds collected for the restoration of “Okhmatdyt” exceeded UAH 1.6 billion, in particular, UAH 400 million will come in the form of equipment. In particular, UAH 312 million went directly to the account of the Okhmatdit NDSL, UAH 379 million to the account of the Okhmatdit – Healthy Childhood Foundation, more than UAH 320 million were collected on the United24 and monobank platforms, which transferred the funds to the account of the Ministry of Health at the National Bank, $11 2 million was allocated by The Howard G. Buffett Foundation for the purchase of a complete list of damaged equipment in the new building of “Okhmatdyt” (funds will come in the form of equipment); $1 million will come from the Lithuanian government; UAH 100 million was allocated by the government of Ukraine; $11.2 million – The Howard G. Buffett Foundation fund for the purchase of a complete list of damaged equipment in the new building of “Okhmatdyt”.
