“DTEK” power engineers restored power supply to the “Okhmatdyt” children’s hospital in Kyiv: electricity was supplied to all buildings of the institution in the morning.
As reported the company in a press release on Wednesday, “DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids” installed three temporary substations, distribution cabinets, tested and connected 29 cable lines. The work was complicated by the fact that the equipment had to be restored in the conditions of clearing rubble and heat.
“Two sleepless nights, three new transformer substations, 29 installed cable lines – and the children’s hospital has recovered,” the message states.
As reported, as a result of Russian strikes on the morning of July 8, three DTEK transformer substations were destroyed and damaged in the Holosiyiv and Shevchenkiv districts of Kyiv, in particular, one of them provided electricity to a medical facility.
