In Transcarpathia, the police handcuffed two drug dealers

Svalyavi police stopped the criminal activities of a local drug dealer: the detainee was placed in a temporary detention center.

Operatives and investigators of police department No. 1 of the Mukachevo district police department exposed a 35-year-old local resident for illegal activities. The figure was engaged in the sale of a particularly dangerous drug – methamphetamine – on the territory of the city and district.

In the course of operational measures, the police established the time and place of another sale of narcotic substances by the suspect. The perpetrator was caught red-handed near the local hospital at the very moment when he received money for the sold “goods”. Physical evidence, namely three rolls of methamphetamine, was seized and sent for examination.

The drug dealer was placed in a temporary detention facility. According to the sanction of the specified article, he faces up to 10 years of imprisonment.

In addition, at the place of detention, the police found a resident of the village of Sasivka in possession of drugs. The 34-year-old man drove the detainee to the meeting place with his client in his Volkswagen Passat. The police found caches of amphetamine and cannabis in his car. And the results of the medical examination confirmed that the man behind the wheel was in a state of drug intoxication.

According to this fact, the investigators opened criminal proceedings.
