Klitschko talked about the most difficult moment that happened this winter

Date:

Vitaliy Klitschko is very grateful to Germany for supporting Ukraine.

He said about this in interview “Russia has no chance” to the German publication RND. The mayor of the capital emphasized that the German Iris-T SLM air defense system, which effectively shoots down Russian cruise missiles, helped save infrastructure facilities and thousands of lives.

The mayor of Kyiv also urged the German authorities not to delay the provision of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine.

According to him, last January the city authorities were close to calling on the population to evacuate due to massive missile strikes by the terrorist country of Russia on the energy infrastructure of the city and region.

Klitschko said that Kyiv’s critical infrastructure survived thanks to the great efforts of energy and utility workers, who worked around the clock.

Vitaliy Klitschko recalled that the longest break without electricity lasted about 14 hours. But then, fortunately, the weather was mild.

On March 9, the terrorist country launched another massive attack on Ukraine. An energy facility was damaged in Kyiv.

As of March 13, power cuts will be applied in four districts of the capital. During the attack on March 9, transmission facilities were affected. They are now being restored. Due to damage to energy facilities in part of Holosiiv, Sviatoshyn, Shevchenkiv and Solomyan districts, there may be outages according to the schedules. DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks warns about this.
