Ukraine nationalized several enterprises controlled by the Russian oligarch Deripaska, the SBU

Date:

According to the materials of the Security Service and the State Bureau of Investigation, the High Anti-Corruption Court satisfied the lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice regarding the transfer of enterprises belonging to the Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska to the state ownership of Ukraine.

The court’s decision concerns the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant, as well as the underground mining companies “Glukhiv Quarry of Quartzites”, “Khust Quarry” and “Zhezheliv Quarry”.

The value of the property transferred to Ukraine is over UAH 10 billion.

It has been established that Deripaska, who is a member of the closest circle of the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation, managed enterprises through controlled commercial structures in various regions of Ukraine.

In this way, the Russian oligarch tried to hide his relationship to Ukrainian assets.

However, employees of the Security Service and the State Bureau of Investigation exposed the scheme and initiated the transfer of 100% of Russian property to the income of Ukraine.

Measures to nationalize enterprises of the aggressor country were carried out by employees of the Main Department of Counterintelligence Support of Critical Infrastructure Objects and Countering Terrorist Financing of the SBU and employees of the State Security Bureau under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
